UNESCO Global Alliance for Cultural Diversity

The Global Alliance promotes cultural diversity by strengthening the capacity of cultural industries to produce and distribute goods and services and help them gain access to national and international markets.
The Global Alliance achieves these aims in three main ways:

1) by creating public/private partnerships between our members to help get cultural initiatives off the ground and share know-how and experiences

2) by working to promote the international respect and enforcement of intellectual property rights

3) by supporting consultations between national authorities and private stakeholders to develop suitable sector policies and legislative frameworks to promote cultural industries
